Lent courses
We will be running four Lent courses this year, all working with the Psalms (See attached flyer):
Starting on Sunday 22nd Feb at 6.30 PM at Malcolm's house in Over Hulton, we will have a 5 week course entitled Who is God?, which will look at our relationship with God through reflection on and discussion of 5 Psalms.
Starting on Tuesday 24th Feb at St John’s Church, Wingates at 10.30 AM, we will have a 6 week course entitled Psalms - Singing with Jesus
Starting on Thursday 26th Feb at St Katharine’s Church, Blackrod at 2.00 PM, we will have a 6 week course entitled Searched me out and known me
Starting on Thursday 26th Feb at St Bart’s Church, Westhoughton at 7.00 PM, we will have a 6 week course entitled Psalms - Singing with Jesus

Reengage Social Group
The charity Reengage is hosting monthly social groups at the John Holt Community Centre. It will be held on the last Wednesday of each month 12:30-2:30. The group aims to bring friendship and companionship to older adults in the community.
Each month there will be mixed games including indoor bowls, skittles and cards. There are complimentary hot drinks, and biscuits, and plenty of time to socialise and meet new friends. The group is friendly and led by our wonderful volunteers who take time to chat with the attendees.
