Advent Bible Study
Join people from across the Team in a bible Study led by Rev’d Sue Aveyard. Sue is a retired pastor from the Church of the Nazarene and now is a member of St Bartholomew's Church. The sessions will be on Tuesday 9th and 16th December at 10.00 AM to 11.30 AM at St Barts.
Toy Service
We will be having a Toy Service on 14th December 2025, we will be collecting and sending simple toiletries for the Societies “Away from Home Young People “ and also gifts for the children resident at Sarah Lodge.

Beanie Hats
It is now officially Autumn & will soon be time to send Beanie Hats for Operation Christmas Child so they can send them to children in less fortunate areas of the world. So we are asking if you can kindly knit some Beanie Hats by the middle of November ! If you haven’t a pattern ( it’s easy!), there will be some on the notice at the back of church.
Team Retreat
The date has now been set for next year’s retreat at Foxhill as 15th to 17th May 2026. More details will follow.

Reengage Social Group
The charity Reengage is hosting monthly social groups at the John Holt Community Centre. It will be held on the last Wednesday of each month 12:30-2:30. The group aims to bring friendship and companionship to older adults in the community.
Each month there will be mixed games including indoor bowls, skittles and cards. There are complimentary hot drinks, and biscuits, and plenty of time to socialise and meet new friends. The group is friendly and led by our wonderful volunteers who take time to chat with the attendees.
