St James' Church is proud to have five ALM's, members of our congregation who have put themselves forward and trained on the Manchester Diocese Authorised Lay Ministry course, two in Worship and Liturgy, two in Pastoral Work, and the other in Children and Families.

They were Authorised in Manchester Cathedral on Saturday 23rd September 2023 and 21st September 2024

The 2023 crop, James, Chris and Steph spent a quiet day following training in North Wales with Rev'd Malcolm, to reflect on their training, their role in the church and aspects of faith and Public Ministry.
