30th November 2025 at 6.00 PM- Taize Service for Advent - Quiet reflective service to prepare for Advent

14th December 2025 at 6.00PM- Team Worship Service (held at St Johns Wingates) with music form Team Worship Band

21st December 2025 at 6.00 PM - Traditional 9 lessons and Carols by candlelight

24th December 2025 at 11.30 AM - Christingle workshop - come and make some Christingle, have a cuppa and a mince pie

24th December 2025 at 4.00 PM - Crib and Christingle Service - Family orientated Christmas service

24th December 2025 at 11.30 PM - Midnight Eucharist - Welcome Christmas with our service with the first communion of Christmas

25th December 2025 at 9.30 PM - Christmas Day Eucharist - Join us for our morning Christmas service

Welcome to St James' Church - a friendly, welcoming church community serving the people of Daisy Hill. Everyone is welcome to come and worship with us in our beautiful Grade 2* listed church building set in the heart of the village of Daisy Hill. We offer worship in a wide range of styles spanning the traditional and modern, from the Book of Common Prayer to Messy Church.

We are part of the Blackrod, Daisy Hill, Westhoughton and Wingates team ministry and work collaboratively with our colleagues across this wide team.
